About the Author
Educational and Work Experience:
Dorothy earned her B.A. degree in Psychology in 2010 at Metropolitan State University, located in St. Paul, MN, USA. She served as a Christian minister for 13 years while raising her five children in Minneapolis suburbs. She worked for two years as a special education para-educator in Anoka-Hennepin Independent School District #11 serving children, teens and adults with emotional, behavioral, and physical challenges.
Over the years, Dorothy assisted youth and adults with various behavioral and psychological challenges, such as: oppositional defiant disorder, manic-depression, ADD/ADHD, social anxiety/phobia, psychosis, clinical depression, and codependency.
In college, Dorothy led a student group called Discriminology – Intergroup Dialogues to address and decrease oppression on campus. She wrote a Personality Workbook to help people identify how their beliefs were formed to help them self-introspect with the purpose of breaking down beliefs that contribute to oppressing others.
Personal and Life Experience:
Dorothy experienced a lot of distress in her life and overcame major depression, social anxiety, low self-esteem, codependency, spiritual conflict, abandonment from family and friends (by leaving her family religion), grief from delivering her stillborn daughter, and emotional and post traumatic stress from being emotionally, sexually, and physically abused by important people in her life.
Dorothy’s compassion for people and the earth moved her to create this and various sites that promote unconditional love for self and others and creating a better world for all.
As part of Dorothy’s recovery, she wrote her autobiography called My Eternal Future, which can be purchased for $10. Your purchase will assist her to continue working on this educational program for the benefit of those who want to reach self-actualization and leave ‘The Matrix’. Upon completion of her autobiography, Dorothy became enlightened and went through spiritual transmutation, thus exiting the matrix that held her back from being true to herself. She drove 10,000 miles across the US in a spiritual pursuit to make her dreams a reality. Now, back in her hometown, she is observing the results from her quest that are creating a better life for herself and her children.
Before leaving on her journey, Dorothy created a vision board that read, “Happy/Healthy Relationships, Happy/Healthy Earth, and $1,000,000.” Since we live in a world that requires money, the hope of obtaining such an amount would enable her to modestly care for her family’s needs and the rest would help others reach self-actualization and become the ‘change they want to see in the world’ (Ghandi); however, in a vision that requires no money, the $1,000,000 would be mute.
On her magical journey which she was called to, Dorothy claimed the nickname Ayla, a name that truly reflects her character and is based on the heroine in the novel Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel. After returning from her travels from the west coast, Ayla created the following video If I Were God that reflects her vision of a better world for all of humanity.
